The Learning Journey
The Learning Journey starts in our Toddler class at age 1-2. A time of curiosity, exploration and rapid development. Preschool 1 at age 3, we become more structured in our learning through play and exploration. Beginning reading and writing skills are in progress. Preschool 2 class at age 4 your child is becoming a more confident and enthusiastic learner. Kg class at age 5 is the final step in the YAS Early Years Journey. We are becoming super readers and writers as we prepare for our transition.
Toddlers
Our youngest stars are introduced to a fun schedule based on language learning, science, dance, sensory play
Pre-School 1
Our nurturing environment allows students to benefit from engaging and developing their independence through numerous of enquiry-based activities. We introduce Math problem solving skills related to real life. Our language arts and beginning writing programs set our students up for success!
Pre-School 2
Students are immersed in a variety of topics win which they advance their skills within a number of curricular areas. Literacy allows them to dive into world of books linked to specific themes. Numeracy provides focused teaching to develop and investigate mathematical concepts and problem solving.
Kindergarten
Our students cultivate a deeper understanding of diverse topics with more detailed comprehension. Learning through an inquiry based STEM initiatives and having a growth mind set. Our Literacy program develops confident and creative writers and readers. We focus on developing Math problem solving skills connected to real life. Students develop their independence and drive with various opportunities throughout from field trips to career visits.
